Our Mission

The purpose of the Te Murumāra Foundation is to protect, maintain and revitalise Te Reo Māori as a national treasure through:

  • Reviewing, revising, updating and extending existing Te Whanake resources in print and digital.
  • Considering projects which seek to utilise any of the Te Whanake resources to benefit and advance the Māori language.
  • Maintaining easy access to te reo Māori and the Te Whanake suite of resources for public use.
